HYPERELEON is our early-harvest extra virgin olive oil, product of cold extraction, originating from carefully selected olive groves in the region of Peloponnese, Greece. Hypereleon olive oil is of high nutritional value as compared to other types of oil and animal fats, so it turns out to be an elixir for health and longevity. It is rich in mono-unsaturated fat, Vitamin Α and Ε and is highly resistant to oxidation. This way it contributes to the reduction of cholesterol and lipids, protecting the body from cardiovascular disease. The beneficial properties of “HYPERELEON” are also due to the very high content of total phenols and polyphenols (600 – 1000 mg/kg) as tyrosol, hydroxytyrosol, oleocanthal and oleacein, as well as to the high content of tocopherols and other types of active natural substances, such as flavonoids (e.g. apigenin), lignans (e.g., pinoresinol, acetoxypinoresinol), other secoiridoids and many more ingredients with unique nutritional but mostly with priceless antioxidant, anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antibacterial, neuroprotective and other health protective and curing properties. As is shown by the results of the chemical analyses* of our olive oil, its levels of hydroxytyrosol, tyrosol or their derivatives are much higher than the average values of corresponding sample levels reported in the literature. Therefore, our olive oil protects the organism against the oxidation of blood lipids, in accordance with Regulation 432/2012 of the European Union. Furthermore, the “HYPERELEON” shows high concentration in tocopherol and other types of active natural substances, such as flavonoids (e.g. apigenin), lignans (e.g., pinoresinol, acetoxypinoresinol) and other secoiridoids.
